Always wanted to know how it would be to live on a ship? Want to have all luxury of a hotel, but with the feeling of a ship? Want to stay from Saturday the 8 of august, till Sunday the 17 of August?
The organisation of the worlds is thinking about renting a ship which will be placed next to the event-area and which can be used as a hotel.
For a ship the cabins are spacious and are equipped with two separate box-spring beds and bathrooms. With a folding bed in each hut, the capacity of the ship is up to 36 persons. When only double rooms are booked (without the extra 3rd bed), the capacity of the ship is 24 persons.
The price of a cabin will be €650 for the whole stay week (Saturday the 8 of august, till Sunday the 17 of August). You’ll get two single beds or one double bed, and one smaller bed as shown on the picture below. Each cabin has its own toilet and shower.
One disadvantage, from Monday till Friday it is possible the organisation needs the ship for sailing with sponsors and family (of competitors) around the race. So between 11:00 and 18:00 O’ Clock it can be possible that you can't get on board. We think it’s a small sacrifice but maybe less convenient for people that aren’t racing.
Due the fact of a high renting price, we need a sponsor to keep the prices affordable for you sailors. Together with one or more sponsors we are able to keep the price for the total period on €650,= per cabin.
August is the high season in the Netherlands so we need to be quick if we want to use this ship. Please let us know if you are interested to rent a cabin for € 650 from Saturday the 9th of August till Sunday the 17th of August. If we find enough interested people we will rent the ship and ask you to sign in officially. Next week we have to decide what we will do, so please respond quick.
